LAKEN N. DAVIS
Laken is originally from DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and an outside concentration in Psychology. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, cum laude, in 2011, followed by several years of private practice in insurance defense.
Laken joined Hebbler & Giordano in 2026. Her practice experience includes defense of suits involving automobile accidents, premises liability, insurance coverage, and workers’ compensation. She is experienced in handling all aspects of litigation, from initial claim assessment through resolution by settlement or trial. Her strength is finding a practical, realistic resolution.
She is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She has tried a variety of suits, both bench and jury trials.
Laken has delivered presentations on topics including insurance coverage, defending against bad faith claims, and work-life balance. In 2015, she attended the 43rd Annual International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy. She also attended the Arkansas Trucking Seminar in 2013, 2015, and 2016.
Outside of the office Laken enjoys spending time with her husband and son and crafting.
