DONNA B. WOOD
Donna is a recent addition to H & G. Since her bar admittance in 1993, she has acquired a diverse practice in the areas of insurance defense, construction law, medical malpractice, trucking and automobile, premise liability, general casualty, worker’s compensation, hurricane litigation, commercial litigation, and automobile dealership defense. Donna has extensive judge and jury trial experience over the past 26 years in both state and federal courts. Furthermore, she has defended cases before administrative law courts and at arbitration. Ms. Wood has further prepared appellate briefs and argued before appellate courts statewide. Donna is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in the State of Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association. She has served as a guest speaker for Lorman legal seminars.
Donna graduated summa cum laude, first in her class, from Loyola University School of Law in 1993. She further served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Law Review. Prior to practicing law, Donna worked as a claim adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company and Aetna Surety & CasualtyCompany.
Donna graduated Louisiana State University with a B.S. Degree in Psychology, summa cum laude, in December of 1983 and a Master’s in Management (Human Resources), magna cum laude, in May of 1985. Donna and her husband reside in Metairie, Louisiana, with their three children.
