Celina McGehee joined the firm in October 2019. She has been practicing law for over five years and a majority of her experience is in insurance defense and casualty litigation.
Celina began her legal career at one of the state’s largest personal injury firms where she learned how cases are managed and evaluated from the initial phone call to the final signature on the closing documents. That knowledge and her insight into the personal injury practice has proved to be invaluable in her defense work.
Born and raised in Louisiana, Celina is from Lettsworth in Pointe Coupee Parish. She graduated from Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee in New Roads in 2004. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s of Arts in Mass communication from Louisiana State University in 2008.
After a few years in public relations, she decided to pursue a legal career. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in May 2014. She was a member of Moot Court. She served as an oralist during a mock disciplinary hearing for an annual meeting of the Louisiana Disciplinary Board.
Celina is admitted to practice in all state courts in the State of Louisiana. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association.
